The hotel was in a STUNNING location just next door to the mountains, Switzerland, and many areas to hike. It also was right next to the train station.

The modern family king room was very comfy. The location of the Berggasthaus Piz Calmot in Andermatt is particularly good, situated right next door to the mountains, the train station, the main street, and the restaurant. Plus, it's right on the slope.

Located in a tranquil and secluded spot between valleys, this place is perfect for those seeking a remote getaway. The clean and modern rooms offer a comfortable stay, ideal for enjoying the nearby hiking and cycling trails. The helpful staff ensures a pleasant experience, and the secure bike storage is a convenient addition. The simple but satisfying breakfast is a great way to start the day.

Some shared toilets could benefit from a refurbishment to enhance the overall comfort.

I recently stayed at this lovely remote hotel overlooking the lake for a few nights. The location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the views were stunning. The room, although a bit dated, was clean and comfortable with a very comfy bed. The staff at the restaurant and reception were very attentive and tried their best to meet our needs. The dinner was delicious, and the waiter had a great smile and made sure everyone was comfortable. The breakfast, adjusted per our request, was ready on time and of excellent quality. The location was also ideal for motorcyclists, with easy access to the Oberalppass, Furka, and Grimsel passes.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my Easter ski trip, with easy access to the slopes. The staff at the restaurant and reception were extremely attentive and made sure all our needs were taken care of. The dinner at the hotel was delicious, with a great variety of options and a friendly waiter who made sure all guests had a great dining experience. the breakfast time was adjusted to our request, accommodating our early departure. the service and food at the hotel were top-notch.

That there was no private bathroom available for larger families, which was not ideal. Another inconvenience was the need to confirm our arrival before 5 pm and dinner by 6 pm, which was understandable given the remote location but still a bit of a hassle.
